Present in over 107 countries and territories and with over 50,000 members, AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organisation. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today.
Towards this aim we run more than 470 conferences , provide 10,000 global internships, and offer over 10,000 leaderships positions to our members each year. Together with a focus on building personal networks and exploring the direction and ambition of their future, AIESEC has an innovative approach to engaging and developing young people.

AIESEC in Romania
In Romania, AIESEC is currently present in 13 important universitarian cities such as: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timisoara, Oradea, Targu Mures, Sibiu, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Galati, etc.
Every year, our national commitee runs 18 national conferences , and over 40 local ones.
Over 78 leaders emerge from the Local Committees in order to run AIESEC in our country. Last year we offered opportunities to work abroad worldwide through our Exchange program to 205 students and also helped over 500 Romanian students to get employed at different companies we worked with on different projects we ran.

AIESEC in Cluj-Napoca
In partnership with business and the local universities, AIESEC Cluj-Napoca reaches this year 16 years of experience in youth development with potential leaders responsible for global thinking.
AIESEC Cluj-Napoca history begins in 1994 when a group of students Babes Bolyai enthusiasts founded the local committee of AIESEC Cluj-Napoca. The desire to achieve performance ever higher is transmitted from generation to generation and today AIESEC Cluj-Napoca sits among the major national committees and is recognized for it's outstanding results.
Currently AIESEC Cluj Napoca includes over 130 members and under the supervision of the staff's leadership they are passing through the 5 stages of development a la AIESEC.
