Global Village, Mai 2010
Taste 12 cultures in one hour!
Wednesday, 19th of may, between 14:00 and 20:00, the first edition of Global Village in 2010 was organized by AIESEC Cluj-Napoca and it's partners at Iulius Mall. The main ideea of the event was to offer the opportunity to Taste other cultures while participating at the event. At the event were AIESEC members from 5 different countries participated: Hong Kong, China, India, Azerbaijan and Romania. Every editions the purpose of the event is celebrating cultural diversity and develop community through tolerance and international cooperation, and particulary at this ediction we had representatives from 2 amazing cultures China and India.

AIESEC Cluj Napoca brings the WORLD togheter! We’ll be waiting for you!
Pepople who participated at this edition had the opportunity to get in contact with Egypt, Russia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Japan, Ukraine, Croatia, Armenia, Estonia, United Kingdom and Kazakhstan cultures, to dance traditional dances, taste traditional food!
Global Village, November 2008-The world is closer than you think!
This edition of Global Village took place on the 29th of November 2008 and brought togheter 7 countries (Germany, Turkey, India, Checz Republic, Vietnam, Poland and India) that celebrated for more then 5 hours the joy of diversity.
The public was abble to visit all the stands from each country and had the chance to find out what they names were spelled in Polish or German, tried out turkish delights, danced on indian music and saw how a Checz person says „hello” in its language!
The internationals prepared traditional objects, flags, dances,music, prezentations on laptops, food and entertained more than 6 high-schools of Cluj Napoca at which they were holding trainings to pupils on different themes within educational project the „World Citizenship”.

Global Village, May 2008-Make Bonds not Boundaries!
This edition of Global Village was part of the Urban Fest event that took place in Cluj Napoca during May last year. Global Village May 2008 gathered in one place, Iulius Mall Cluj Napoca, internationals from 4 continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, America. Each of the 19 countries that were present at this magnific multicultural festival was represented by trainees, cultural centers or foreign students in Cluj.
